While integrated pest management in healthcare in Delhi/NCR and all over India has become the health care industry standard pest management program. Pests are quite different from each other in significance and behavior. Similarly generate different threads to the health care industry. The most common pest in health care facilities are flies, ants, rodent and cockroaches. According to a survey and hygiene standards parameters all pest pose unique threats. Health Care facilities serve with a wider array of functions and in different verities.
Nursing homes and assisted living facilities are different in nature than Healthcare clinics. Similarly hospitals and outpatient centers are different than they are alike. When we talk about the integrated pest management in healthcare in Delhi/NCR and other states it’s clear one strategy doesn’t fit for all. Each facility is different and each environment features generates different pest issues. Just to know about the pests and threats they generate is not sufficient however knowing how they can influence each type of health care facility is another.
